Burgers to Bibles
The Columbus, Ohio Diocese and Catholic Charities has recently reached an agreement with the original building that housed the first Wendy's Restaurant. New architectural design coupled with keeping the original L shaped building are just part of the expected renovations.

Hospice for Children, Youth, and Adults
Most of you who know me, remember the years of work with people who are grieving, survivors and those who are suffering from chronic illness. In addition most of you are probably aware of the many questions I receive regarding spirituality, spiritual beliefs, belief systems and how all of this influences a person who has either experienced trauma or is in the dying process.
Simply bringing awareness to this aspect of our lives has been worthwhile and rewarding. I encourage each of you to become more aware of those around you who may be experiencing some aspect of grieving, anger, and dying.
Simply become more aware, compassionate or maybe say a prayer for them.
As always, I would like to mention the excellent work and services of St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and I encourage you to participate in one of their fund raisers.

St. Therese of Lisieux known as "the little flower" is considered " the greatest saint of modern times". She is the patron saint of sufferers of HIV/AIDS, aviation, florists, and missions to name only a few. She was proclaimed a doctor of the church in 1997 by Pope John Paul II, the only doctor of the church during his pontificate. She is the co-patron saint of France alongside St. Joan of Arc.
